WHAT YOU CAN DO:


(a) The race track does not conform to the existing RU zoning. The track has applied for a zoning exemption and an Official Plan amendment. Part of the process is public input before the decision is made by council;

(b) You should make your feelings known by writing to the council with a copy to the Township Clerk:

And copies to Renfrew County Warden, Mr. Bill Schwieg, Renfrew County Council, Renfrew County Clerk, Mr. Norm Lemke, and the Renfrew County Planner Mr. Jim Hutton at the following address:

(c) Watch for “Notices” of meetings to deal with the zoning/plan amendments and attend them!.

(d) If council decides for the track they will be putting the financial burden on its residents to fight their decision at an OMB hearing
