Calabogie is an “active” rural community with an abundance of recreation that is compatible with its rural setting. It is a haven for vacationers, nature lovers, artists, photographers, sightseers, retirees, skiers, golfers, fishermen, hunters and many time share condominium owners who visit Calabogie for the tranquility and natural beauty of the area. Will they come back.

• Calabogie is not a “retirement community” which is a comment we often hear people trying to attribute to those opposed to the proposed track.

• In the winter, Calabogie has a ski hill to go along with ice fishing, great snowmobiling trails which wind through the area which not only enhance the enjoyment of the area, but they have minimal noise impact because they are not confined to one spot.
  
  
• What Calabogie already has is what should be marketed and promoted to its maximum, without bringing in a motorsport track which will go a long way to damage its vibrant and growing existing economy, as well as the other great things Calabogie already has.
